On the plains is the quarterly newsletter of the Gippsland Plains Conservation Management Network. This edition was produced by the Gippsland Plains and East Gippsland Rainforest Conservation Management Networks through funding from the Australian Government’s Caring for our Country; CMN facilitator Trish Fox, who volunteers half of the hours required to produce the newsletter; and the CMN editorial committee.

Can you help the CMN? We require several professional pro bono services to help us in our work. Accountants who could volunteer some of the time required to keep our finances ship-shape, and solicitors who could help landholders with title agreements to protect scattered tree project sites are asked to contact Trish Fox (see below).

We would also like to hear from businesses who could sponsor some of our projects. Perhaps you could pay for an artifical nest site for a peregrine falcon, help us fence off some of the paddock trees on our waiting list, or help produce this newsletter In return your business will be given free advertising space in this newsletter.
