Early June and the Blackberry Canes from last season have taken root, now is a good time to pull these up before they form a new plant. The original plant can be cut off and the stump painted with glycosate weed killer (dilute 4 : 1 and use in a small spray bottle). Or just dig out the knob of root just below the surface.

The King Parrots are knocking down the fruit from the lillypilly so it is time to complete the suggestion from last month, or even to find the pittosporum that still has fruit
