Spider plant , a garden escapee needs to tackled in a way that removes the tubers as well as the foliage, simply spraying only kills the leaves allowing the tubers to regrow the plant.

Turkey dock also grows from tubers and stems although herbicide can be used at some stages of growth. Tubers and stems need to be removed to stop the infestation regrowing.
Where the Wandering Jew has been rolled into heaps it is ready to roll in builders plastic to solarise, it cannot effectively be sprayed when piled up like this.
