Conservation Management Network To increase the
amount of rainforest and associated vegetation types subject to
restoration, conservation and permanent protection in East Gippsland.
Here the landowner has tried planting only to have deer and
sun exposure kill off all her plants.
Suggestions include the planting of non-palatable species which will then
provide cover for the tasty plants. These include
Senecio linearifolius
Perennial fireweed
Ozothamnus ferrugineus Tree everlasting
Solanum aviculare
Kangaroo apple
